Sir,
The recent historical visit of our Prime Minister to J&K speaks of his concern towards the State’s welfare. During this last year’s visit while addressing a mammoth public gathering at Srinagar, he announced 80,000 crores package for the development of the State which has been the biggest one so far. Now opening of Chenani-Nashri tunnel is an extra ordinary feat of our engineers and workers. The Prime Minister has rightly said that this long tunnel would be our fate line connecting Jammu with Kashmir round the year. He has advised the stone pelters to shun path of violence and channelise potential for the growth and development.
PM is very keen in developing State’s tourism sector because of its landscape. This tourism sector can provide jobs to a large number of unemployed youth of the State provided the State Govt develops it earnestly. The industry has the potential of high magnitude. The Prime Minister of India does not like to see disturbance in Kashmir and has time and again promised all help to the State Govt in mitigating the sufferings of the people of the State.
There are no two opinions with regard to his statement and being a visionary will fulfill it, provided peace returns to the Valley.
Yours etc…
S N Raina
