PM terms package as ‘sample’ for J&K, says more to come

CHANDERKOTE: Asking people to utilize announced funds in a speedy way for an overall development of all the three regions of the State, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the package announced for Jammu and Kashmir is a ‘sample’ but there is more to come.
”Do justice to Rs 80,000 crore package, which I announced in Kashmir today”, the Prime Minister said while addressing a public rally after inaugurating 450 MW Baglihar Hydroelectric Project Stage-II and laying foundation for four laning of Udhampur-Ramban and Ramban-Banihal Section of National Highway Number 44 here this afternoon.
The Prime Minister said, ”Provide us the detailed report of the funds sanctioned time to time and utilise them properly”, adding, ”We are always there for you. More funds will come once, you do justice to it.”
He further said that ‘Khazana’ of Delhi and ‘Heart of Delhi’, have special place for Jammu and Kashmir, adding the package announced will surely rehabilitate the displaced people including Kashmiri Pandits, refugees (1947, 1965, 1971) and flood affected victims. (AGENCIES)
