Prime Minister Narendra Modi today saluted Indo Tibetan Border Police personnel on the raising day of ITBP.
“On the raising day of ITBP, I salute our brave ITBP personnel. We are proud of their valour, determination and service to the nation,” the Prime Minister said. ITBP was raised on October 24, 1962. Presently, ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh, covering 3,488 km of Indo-China Border. (UNI)
