PM rules out third term, says Rahul most appropriate candidate

NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today ruled out a third term in office, if the UPA Government is re-elected to power.
Addressing a news conference in the fag end of UPA-II, the Prime Minister said Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had outstanding credentials to be nominated to the coveted post.
However, Dr Singh said the party will take appropriate decision on the issue. (AGENCIES)
