PM condemns Bodhgaya blasts

NEW DELHI :  Strongly condemning the serial blasts in Bodhgaya this morning, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said such attacks on religious places would not be tolerated.
In a statement, the Prime Minister’s office said,”Dr Singh has strongly condemned the blasts in and around the sacred Mahabodhi temple at Bodhgaya.”
“Our composite culture and traditions teach us respect for all religions and such attacks on religious places will never be tolerated,” Dr Singh said.
He has wished a speedy recovery to those who have been injured in the blasts in Bodhgaya.
Nine serial explosions rocked the Mahabodhi Temple complex in Bodhgaya, leaving at least five people injured. (AGENCIES)
