Plus Two Lecturers meet Advisor Khan

SRINAGAR, July 26: A delegation of All J&K Plus Two PSC Lecturer Association here today called upon Governor’s Advisor, Farooq Khan and apprised him of the issue of Assured Career Progression (ACP).
The delegation was led by Association vice president, Mansoor Ahmed Khan and it highlighted various issues facing the lecturer community in the State.
The Association expressed concern over stagnation in the cadre and stressed for the early redressal of the demand of ACP.
The Advisor was informed that plus two lecturers are only employees group in gazetted cadre which are deprived of career progression or time bound promotions.
Issues like release of senior lecturers list, filling up of vacant posts at different levels, filling of Joint Director’s posts from parent department and abolishing SRO 202 was also brought into the notice of Advisor.
The Advisor assured that all the issues would be redressed on priority base.
The delegation comprised of Dr. Nazim, General Secretary; Mohammad Shafi, Syed Ishtiyaq, Kaiser Shafi Shah, Dr. Sajad Ahmad, Khursheed Ahmad Dar, Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Bhat and Mohammad Ashraf Malla.
