JAMMU, Mar 30: Central Working Committee (CWC) Jammu of All J&K Plus Two PSC Lecturer Association has appealed the teaching community to come forward and extend all possible support to the online classes for compensating academic loss of students.
“Plus two lecturers are requested to come forward, register themselves with the link provided, ensure active participation in the WhatsApp groups created, respond the queries of the students, try to minimize their anxiety, convince them for social distancing and also join the venture of imparting education through DSEJ’ s online classes,” said Manjeet Chib, the convenor of CWC Jammu.
Maintaining that PSC recruited Lecturers are committed to do their best for the welfare of student community and are available to extend full support and cooperation to higher ups if and when needed, he appreciated Principal Secretary Asgar Samon and DSEJ Anuradha Gupta for initiating online classes.
He hoped that the students instead of spending too much time on social media will reap the benefits out of it. “It will definitely help them to compensate their academic loss,” he added.
Mr Chib said that it is the prime responsibility of every citizen to play his part in maintaining social distance and implementation of advisories issued by the Government from time to time. He lauded the passionate and professional approach of doctors, paramedical staff, nurses, police personnel and administration as well. He also urged general public to maintain social distance, cooperate with doctors, Police personal, avoid unnecessary visits to hospitals and desist from panic purchase of essential items.
