JAMMU, May 23: Plus 2 Officers Forum, Jammu Kashmir, has demanded regularization of all In-charge gazette cadres in the School Education Department and non-vacation status to Principals as well as Pay Grade of Rs 7600 to them.
The demands were highlighted during a meeting of the Forum, held under the chairmanship of Ram Parkash, president, through teleconferencing.
The Forum appealed to the Principal Secretary School Education to issue final seniority lists of in-charge cadres, get their Vigilance clearance from the GAD and convene the DPC meeting for regularization of all pending in-charge cadres at the earliest.
The Forum also appealed the Principal Secretary to either implement or abolish the promotion quota for reserved categories so that posts reserved for the quotas can be utilized in the better interest of in-charge cadres for their regularization.
The Forum resented against alleged pick and choose in the recent promotion cum transfer order, in which the newly promoted, pre-matured and blue eyed officers were adjusted at prime posts whereas those serving at remote areas or those at the verge of retirement were ignored by the authorities.
