JAMMU, Apr 7: An emergency meeting of the central body of All J& K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of Kiranjeet Kaur, State president of the Forum.
The meet expressed the great shock and resentment over the Government Order No-308 of GAD of 2016 dated 2-4-2016 under which sanction has been accorded to the creation of eight new posts of Jt Directors School Education and these posts have been allotted to the KAS Cadre.
The speakers said that the officers of the School Education Department are already facing acute problem of stagnation for long and appointing the Joint Directors School Education from KAS cadre is a grave injustice with the Plus 2 Cadre. This move will curtail the promotional avenues of the Officers of the Plus 2 Cadre as a result of which the best and bright minds will not be attracted to this Department, the participants explained and urged the Government to order rollback of the said order.
Those who spoke on the occasion, included R S Slathia, Anil Sharma, Dr Sushma, Charan Dass, N S Jamwal, Deepak Sharma, Sanjay Bhagat, Pardeep Singh, Tarsem Singh, Pritam Singh, Narinder Sharma and others.
