SAMBA, Dec 10: The All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum, District Samba, convened a meeting under the leadership of Lok Sevak, District president of the Forum, and discussed issues like mid term transfers, running pattern and incident of assaults on the supervisory staff in the examination centres.
The meet criticized the mid term transfers and adjustments of Plus 2 lecturers by the higher authorities of the department. The members opined that the transfers at this point of time would affect the future of the students of Plus 2, particularly HSP-II.
Lok Sevak, appealed the Government to sort out all the technicalities as well as modalities for proper implementation of running pattern to the Plus 2 cadre. He also demanded that there should be some incentives for the higher qualified Plus 2 Lecturers i. e. M. Phil., Ph. D. holders as per the pattern of the Higher Education Department of the State.
The meeting was attended by Dr Purshotam Singh, Devinder Singh, Dinesh K Sangra, Rajeev Sharma, Zakir Hussain, Renu Devi, Manjeet Kour, Sohan Lal, Sarita Rajput, Balwant Raj, Priyanka Gupta, Ram Kumar, Sarita Sharma and many others.
