Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Mar 31: To discuss the education scenario and other issues, a meeting of Plus 2 lecturers’ Forum was held under the chairmanship of its State president N S Jamwal, here today. Members of the central executive, all the tehsil heads of Jammu district and number of core members participated in the meeting wherein speaker gave suggestions for the preparations of annual day on 9th of April 2013. This time, the day is being observed as victory day for regularization of Incharge Lecturers. While speaking on the occasion Mr Jamwal appreciated the visionary approach of Deputy CM, Tara Chand, for filling up the vacant posts of Joint Directors, CEOs, Lecturers and of Head Masters which was long pending demand of the forum. This will virtually give boost to the academic culture in the Education Department to harvest the best results to the required standards, he said and assured that the Lecturer fraternity will leave no stone unturned to uplift the educational standard. The meet also highlighted the demands like running grade patterns of the plus 2 cadre to eradicate the stagnation once for all and reorganization of the Department of School Education. Others who spoke on the occasion were Charan Dass, Manmeet Bali, Ashwani Sharma, Tarseem Singh, Talib Hussain, Rattan Lal, Pardeep Singh Rakwal, Suresh Kumar, Deepak Sharma, Ghar Singh and N A Malik.
