Sir,
We, the parents of the private schools of Zanskar want to draw the kind attention of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Zanskar towards the fact that the teachers of Lamdon Model High School Ufti, Marpaling Lamdon School Stongday, Jamyangling Model School Raru, and SECPAD School Karsha are all stuck in Leh. We have already requested to you few days before about the same subject but no action has been taken from your administration. Now, we have no other alternatives left other than to wait for heli. We plead you on the basis of following points.
* All the Govt schools of Zanskar are open without teachers, but the private schools remain closed due to the absence of teachers.
* Since a month back the non local teachers have been waiting for helicopter. We had requested to allow us to go through Chadar to bring the teachers. But no permission was granted on account of sudden blockade of River Phuktal.
* Chadar was closed this year by the district administration, so our teachers have no alternative than to wait for the helicopter.
* The Managing Committees of the above mentioned schools have decided keep schools closed till the opening of Kargil Zanskar road.
* All this problem of closing the Chadar has been created by the administration but now the administration is not giving proper helicopter service and other facilities.
Keeping in view the mentioned points, we request you to provide helicopter service to teachers on priority basis so that Private schools could be opened without further delay.
