SRINAGAR, June 22: The candidates who had applied for the posts of Junior Assistants advertised in 2009 under the state cadre have appealed the Services Selection Recruitment Board to furnish the results of the type test held one and a half year back.
A delegation of the candidates while and talking to Excelsior said that the posts were advertised under notice number 2 of 2009 and it took two years to the SSRB to hold the type test. The candidates said that the type test was held in January 2011 but the results have not been declared so far.
“Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should intervene in the matter so that the results are furnished quickly and the process is taken forward. This would settle the nerves of the people who had applied for the posts of Junior Assistants,” said the candidates. They said the other posts advertised in the notice have been filled and people are working on those positions.
