It is requested to the Chairman J&K State Pay Anomaly Committee to settle long pending demand of J&K State Govt lower cadre employees for parity of pay scales of similar cadre employees by removal of pay and grade disparities before the implementation of 7th Pay Commission. Almost all employees bodies and unions have time and again represented their cases before all concerned authorities, but these employees got ony assurances. It is pertinent to mention that removal of Pay anomalies does not require much financial expenditure but it will give mental satisfaction to the employees.
The clerical cadre employees, the masters and others who have projected their cases need favourable consideration. The similarly placed sub-Inspectors of Excise and Taxation Department draw Rupees fifteen thousand less than their counterparts in Police Department. The Sub-Inspector of Excise do not get two and half days extra monthly salary, no working time schedule, no security cover, no uniform allowance and even no washing allowances. This is only one example and in reality many more such anamolies exist in other Departments. It is again requested to the Chairman Pay Anamoly Committee to settle all these pending cases for the sake of justice with employees and their families.
