JAMMU, Nov 19: Theatre group ‘Ek Sath Rang Mandal’ here today staged Vijay Malla’s play ‘Nasha Ek Abhishap’.
The play was a story of one Behari Lal who being a habitual drunkard used to beat his wife daily and she in turn tolerated all such wrong activities of her husband.
One day her patience exhausted and she started shouting when Behari was beating her.
Soon the neighbours gathered there and came to know what all used to happen at Behari’s home.
The neighbours asked Behari to mend his ways as it spoils the very atmosphere of the locality.
After feeling ashamed of his activities Behari promised to mend his ways and became a changed man.
Artists who performed in the play were Gopal Singh, Raju Mad, Shally, Kavita, Sunny, Mukesh, Arvind, Abhishek, Nitin, Sahil, Nitin Angotra and Vijay Malla.
