Play ‘Nanhi Kali’ staged

JAMMU, Aug 7: In the ongoing series of Nukkad Natak, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages here today staged the play ‘Nanhi Kali’ written and directed by Rajni Bhatti.
The play was about that a daughter becomes a link between two families after her marriage but still remains more attached to her own parents.
With desire of having a boy child, mother-in-law of this girl tortures her after she knows that her daughter-in-law is having a girl child in her womb.
The mother-in-law wants the girl child to be aborted.
The artists who performed in the play were Rajni Bhatti, Dazy Bazaz, Mohd Umar, Shivam, Rinku, Anil, Vinay Sharma, Ramesh Pandita and Himagani Moza.
