Play ‘Chor Chor Museray Bhai’ staged

JAMMU, July 19: In the ongoing 2nd National Theatre Festival (online), Sangam Theatre Group Reasi staged Hindi comedy play ‘Choor Choor Museray Bhai’ written by Rajnesh Gupta, directed by M. Akram Khan and assisted by Dharminder Rathore.
The Theatre Festival is being organized by Rangasena Naithati of West Bengal on 5th Rangoutsab 2021-22 wherein the participating States are Maharashtra, Kerala, Manipur, J&K and West Bengal.
Ashraf is owner of a house. Nusrat is his wife and Sheku is servant of Ashraf and is bachelor. Fatima is Ashraf’s sister and is 40 years old and married.
Kaley khan is married old man and all his children are also married.
Fatima comes in crying as a marriage bureau ditched her.
From this, Ashraf plans to start a marriage bureau to cheat people.
He opens a marriage bureau where Kaley Khan spends a lot of money. Shekhu impersonates as a young bachelor Wasim and befools Fatima who in turn is befools Wasim by pretending to be a young beautiful girl. At the end Ashraf’s wife reveals all the truth. Kaley Khan gets married to Fatima, Shekhu alias Wasim is caught by the police and arrest.
The artist who acted in this play included Zail Singh, Gopal Krishan, Monika Kumari, Saima Akhtar, Dharminder Rathore and Rakesh Kumar. Music was given by Dharminder Rathore and Sahil Khanna, set was designed by Gopal Krishan and Zail Singh, Costumes by Anam Khan and Saima Akhtar, make-up by Akram Khan, lights by Asim Khan, sound by Rakesh Kumar, property by Rashad Khan, Photography by Raja Aamir Khan and Production Controller was Parveen Akhtar.
