JAMMU, May 7: A mega placement drive was conducted at IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, in which recruiters from different organization participated.
Twenty students from IT, Computer and Electronics and Communication Departments got selected in Roman Technologies Private Limited Banglore and were given offer letters on the spot.
Er Ajay Jamwal, Dean (Adm)-cum-Training Placement and Corporate Relations Cell said that drive is combination of three years hard work of faulty and students. He informed the audience that a large number of students passing out from this institute, were placed in reputed companies like Tata steel, U-flex Private Limited, Maruti Udyog, Wipro, Harley Davidson, etc during last couple of years.
Recruiters from different organization like Mount Talent Consulting, Telecom Network Solution (TNS), Roman technologies Private Limited, etc also spoke on the occasion to give introduction about their companies and training cum recruitment process.
Prof. K.G. Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic in his speech, expressed hope that the selected students will join these companies after completion of their final semester and try to learn various practical application of the knowledge attained by them during their training period .
