JAMMU, Oct 31: A pool campus placement drive was held at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) by the renowned company GENPACT offering vide range of recruitment and selection services.
The placement drive was for the students of all Engineering branches of YCET and the Management students of IMS and the students from Tawi Technical Campus. The variety of job profiles offered by the company incorporated Finance and Accounting, Banking Financial Services and Insurance, Voice (Customer Services/ Collections) & Health Care Process.
The recruitment process started with the Group Discussion Round followed by an online test. Company Representative, Vineeta Sumbli, (HR) of GENPACT, appreciated the efforts put forth by the college in motivating the young minds.
About 100 students participated in this drive and around 28 of them were shortlisted for the final round. Out of these 28 students, 15 cleared the final round. These 15 selected students will be joining the company after completion of the course.
Director YCET, Dr A K Srivastava and Er Nidhi Jamwal (Administrative Secretary) congratulated the selected students and presented memento to the company representatives and appreciated their visit to the institution.
The placement drive was conducted by the Training and Placement Officer Er Dinesh Gupta.
