JAMMU, June 2: The Jammu & Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) has urged upon the State Government to place Village Agriculture Extension Assistants (VAEAs) as Junior Agriculture Extension Officers (JAEOs) in the State Agriculture Department.
In a meeting of the members of the Association held here today, its president Dr Surinder Radotra said that the minimum educational qualification for both the posts/ designations is same as BSc Agriculture and therefore, the VAEAs be placed or designated as Junior Agriculture Extension Officers.
