JAMMU, Dec 28: Kashmiri Pandits on the 33rd Homeland Day today took a solemn pledge to intensify their struggle for carving out a separate homeland for over seven lakh KPs on the North Eastern bank of river Jehlum in accordance to Marg Darshan Resolution of 1991 which was fully endorsed by the community members scattered all over globe.
A resolution was passed by the community which reaffirmed its commitment to the Margdarshan Resolution, demanding the creation of a separate Union Territory for the permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus on North East of river Jehlum.
Through another resolution the apathy of the State towards the community was strongly condemned urging the Union Government to withdraw the humiliating migrant label and to take immediate action to enhance relief measures, provide security for PM package employees and create employment opportunities for the KPs outside Valley. The resolutions were introduced by Anantaditya Aima.
Addressing the convention, Dr Ajay Chrungoo, chairman PK , condemned the ongoing denial of the genocide faced by Kashmiri Hindus, criticizing both the State’s indifference and the world’s silence. He reaffirmed the Margdarshan Resolution which calls for the creation of a separate Union Territory specifically for the permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus. He emphasized that such a move was not just an aspiration but a necessity, given the continuing threat of Jihadist violence and the inability of the current political establishment to address the community’s plight.

The remnants of Bangladesh freedom struggle have been erased and the democratically elected Sheikh Hasina Government was ousted which is a serious challenge to well thinking people and great civilizations across globe.
