NEW DELHI, Apr 18: Pistachio prices declined by Rs 5 per kg in the local market here today largely due to subdued demand from retailers and stockists.
Adequate stocks position following increased arrivals from overseas markets also put pressure on pistachio prices.
Pistachio (hairati and peshawari) eased by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 1,350-1,470 and Rs 1,450-1,565 per kg, respectively.
The following were today’s quotations (per 40 kg):
Almond (California) Rs 17,700 Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 7,900-8,100; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 4,400-4,700; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-22,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 615-635 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 500-550 per kg. (PTI)
