RAJOURI, Feb2 : Shafqat Wani has been unanimously elected as president while Tejinder Singh Kaka as general secretary of Pirpanjal Contractors Association, Rajouri.
In a meeting of the contractors held in Rajouri today under the chaimanship of Tejinder Singh Kaka, the members discussed various issues facing the contractors over the past few years. The meeting also discussed the non-payment of their pending bills and unnecessary harassment metted out to them by the Municipal Council Rajouri and a few other departments.
During the meeting, office bearers of the Association were also unanimously elected. Besides president and general secretary, other members inducted are – Romesh Sharma senior vice president, Nadeem Mirza vice president, Irfan Zari -secretary, Chamail Singh – chief organiser, Ashfaq Mirza- chief advisor while Muhammad Aftar Lone, Mohd Iqbal, Mohd Ishtiaq Bhat, Shakeel Ahmed, Nikash Sheikh and Danyal Malik as advisors of the Association.
