JAMMU, May 6: A pipping ceremony was organized today at the office of the Deputy Director Prosecution Jammu, where newly promoted officials of the Prosecution Department were ceremonially decorated with their new ranks.
Deputy Director Prosecution Jammu Rajesh Gill, along with Senior Prosecutor Altaf Hussain, decorated the promoted officials with the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
The officers who were promoted and decorated on the occasion included ASI Pawan Kumar, presently posted in the Forest Magistrate Court Jammu, and ASI Rakesh Kumar, presently posted in the Railway Magistrate Court Jammu.
The ceremony was attended by their respective Assistant Public Prosecutors, Pawandeep Kour and Palvi Bakshi, besides other officials of the DDP Office including Sheil Khan, Accountant, Vishal Koul, Junior Assistant, Khursheeda HC, Dimple Singh HC, Ashu Riana and Sansar Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gill said that promotion is not only a recognition of past performance but also a reflection of the greater responsibility entrusted upon them. He urged the officers to continue upholding the highest standards of integrity, discipline, accountability and professionalism while discharging their duties.
The promoted officers reaffirmed their commitment to serving the Prosecution Department with honesty, dedication and diligence. The ceremony was also attended by senior officers and officials of the department.
