UDHAMPUR, July 16: One-day annual Pingla Mata Yatra was taken out today with religious fervor and enthusiasm.
The Yatra was organized by Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Pingla Mata Udhampur and flagged off by Ex-Minister of State, Pawan Kumar Gupta and president Municipal Council, Udhampur Dr Jogeshwar Gupta.
Due to Corona Pandemic, only few devotees were allowed from different areas of State to pay their obeisance at the sacred shrine of Pingla Mata situated on a hill top at village Pinger in Tehsil Ramnagar of district Udhampur.
A lot of enthusiasm and high spirits were visible on the faces of devotees who were constantly chanting hymns in praise of Pingla Mata.
Free langar and light refreshment stalls were also organized by the Sanstha and local people at different locations en-route the Cave Shrine.
According to president Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha Ashok Pinglia, the Akhand Jyoti free bus services were also arranged for the devotees from Udhampur to Village Kahua the base camp of the Cave Shrine, besides organizing a free langar at the Shrine and en-route.
