REASI, Oct 6: A pilgrim of Mata Vaishno Devi, from New Delhi, died at Katra due to heart attack, here today.
The deceased was identified as Subash Chander, son of Sant Ram Khanna of Model Town, New Delhi. He suffered a massive heart attack near Darshini Gate. He was rushed to CHC Katra where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Subash Chander was accompanied by his wife and other family members.
Meanwhile, in a road accident, a woman passenger was injured when a minibus turned turtle at Zero Morh, near Talwara. The injured, identified as Maryam Bibi, wife of Abdul Rashid of Patta, was shifted to District Hospital Reasi.
The minibus, bearing registration number JK14-5322, was on its way from Reasi to Pouni when it met with the accident.
