KATRA, May 22: A Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Punjab, died here today because of cardiac arrest while on way to the Bhawan.
The deceased, identified as Chana Ram (51), son of Durga Ram, resident of Gopal Nagar, Bathinda in Punjab, fell unconscious at Lambikeri when he was on way to the Bhawan. He was immediately shifted to Adhkuwari dispensary where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later the dead body was shifted to CHC Katra for legal formalities.
