During the interaction, Wagh spoke about the port’s vital role in strengthening India’s maritime trade and improving logistics efficiency.
He shared details about various modernization projects, developmental works and the port’s efforts to boost connectivity and trade facilitation across the country.
The interaction holds particular significance for Jammu and Kashmir, as the Union Territory’s economy relies heavily on the movement of goods, including handicrafts, dry fruits and horticultural produce, to both domestic and international markets.
