Phobia of hoisting Tri-colour at Lal Chowk ends: Sena

JAMMU, Aug 7: The Jammu unit of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackray today said that phobia of hoisting Tri-colour at Lal Chowk in Srinagar ended the moment the President of India signed the official notification regarding abrogation of provisions of Article 370 after it was passed convincingly by parliament yesterday.
Addressing the media persons here today, State general secretary of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackray, Manish Sahni saluted the bold and daring move by NDA Government. Sahni said the wall between the Centre and Kashmir has been removed and the policy of ‘One Constitution- One Flag’ has become reality in whole nation as it was the dream of Bala Saheb Thackray.
Sahni appealed Home Minister Amit Shah and National president of Shiv Sena, Uddhav Thackray to hoist National flag at Lal Chowk on 15th August. Sahni apprised the media that he has written letters to both Amit Shah and Uddhav Thackray regarding the same. He said that the days have come when every Indian’s dreams come true to hoist the Tri-color at Lal Chowk.
Vice president of Shiv Sena, Surjeet Singh Chib, Secretary Raj Singh, Vikas Bakshi, Parvinder Singh Sethi and many others were present on the occasion.
