PHEWWA discusses demands

JAMMU, July 9:  A meeting of PHE Workers Welfare Association (PHEWWA) held under the chairmanship of Bakshi Singh, wherein threadbare discussions regarding long pending demands of PHE employees were discussed, today.
The meeting discussed demands of PHE employees for regularization of 9317 Daily rates workers who has worked upto 2015, releasing of monthly wages to all the workers, besides rationalization of pay scales of permanent employees and introducing of staff welfare fund scheme for serving employees.
Subash Verma, provincial general secretary of the association  lambasted for the pick and choose policy of the PHE minister relating to regularization of Daily rates workers. He appealed minister I&FC/PHE to release at-least six months wages of PHE workers before ensuring EID festivals. He has also stated all other trade union leaders has urged upon to State to redress the burning demands of the employees/workers, but it is very pity that Government has turned deaf ear and such there left no other option to adopt Kaam Chor Hartal tactics and the Government shall held responsible for any un- towards incident in future.
