JAMMU, Dec 12: A delegation of PHE Workers’ Welfare Association under the leadership of provincial president of the Association met Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma today and gave him second reminder regarding their long pending demands.
The delegation discussed threadbare the demand of the PHE employees, which included release of wages, regularization of monthly wages of workers, holding of DPC meeting, forming regularization policy for workers having completed five years of service on the pattern of Rehbar-e-Zeerat, and regularization of benefits of SRO as extended to the left out categories of employees of the Department.
The Minister passed on the spot instructions to the officers concerned for redressal of some demands and assured the delegation that other demands would be considered in nearest future.
