JAMMU, June 19: Water Works (PHE) Employees Association, Jammu province today inducted some new members to streamline the functioning of the organization.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma- Provincial President of the Association and State president of INTUC, the Executive Committee reviewed the functioning of organization and also decided to induct some new members and streamline the functioning of the units. Some new appointments in the existing units were also announced.
Abdul Rehman Malik has been appointed as provincial secretary, Sumit Sharma -president PHE Mech Division unit, Rajouri while Parma Nand as chairman and Madan Lal as president PHE Division unit Akhnoor.
New office bearers for Jammu District unit of the PHE were also announced. Parshotam Kumar Sharma has been appointed as district president, Hans Raj as senior vice president, Bishan Dass, Mohd Shafi Malik and Ch Abdul Rashid as district vice presidents; Madan Lal Sharma ( Khara Madana) and Surinder Kumar ( R S Pura) as district secretaries while Subhash Chander as cashier.
PHE Mech Division South Gandhi Nagar Unit of the Association was also reconstituted with the appointment of Vijay Gupta as its chairman and Sham Lal Digra as president. Naresh Kumar is senior vice president, Dharam Singh chief organizer, Gopal Krishan secretary while Devinder Singh as cashier. Trilok Kumar, Vikas Sharma Swarn Singh and Surinder Kumar have been appointed as joint secretaries.
Shiv Kumar Sharma assured full cooperation and assistance to the new units and the new members inducted for the smooth functioning of the organization.
