SAMBA, Dec 24: Public Health Engineering (PHE) Employee Union staged a strong protest demonstration at Sub Division, Bari Brahmana today demanding release of their wages.
According to the reports, this morning at around 10:30 am, a large number of CP workers and ITI workers assembled in PHE Sub Division, Bari Brahmana under the banner of PHE Employee Union to lodge their strong protest against the apathy of the authorities who have failed to release their salaries.
They raised slogans against the authorities demanding release of their pending wages.
The protesting PHE CP workers warned that if their salaries were not released within seven days the Union will be constrained to stop the water supply and concerned Department will be responsible for it.
