PHE daily wager dies in road accident

JAMMU, Dec 21: A Public Health Engineering (PHE) daily wager was killed, when the motorcycle, he was riding on was hit by a truck near Barnai area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per reports, a PHE daily wager identified as Bhushan Lal, son of Sham Lal of Lower Muthi, was seriously injured, when the motorcycle (JK02K-4923) he was riding on was hit by a truck bearing registration number JK02AB-1179 near Barnai.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under FIR number 487/13 has been registered at Domana police station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused truck driver, who escaped from the spot leaving behind the vehicle.
