JAMMU, Apr 24: A deputation of Jammu and Kashmir Public Health Engineering (PHE) Clerical Employees Association called on Chief Engineer, PHE Department, here.
The deputation led by President of the Association Munish Sharma and Kuldeep Singh Chib, general secretary projected several issues including re-organization of Ministerial cadre, creating of posts of section officer in the department, shifting of tech staff (draftman) working in the place of Ministerial staff, clearance of DPC of Ministerial cadre, formation of transfer policy of clerical cadre and provide working culture and atmosphere in every office.
Munish Sharma said that the non-seriousness of the department towards the demands of the clerical cadre of the PHE Department is leading confrontation among the clerical cadre. It has been unanimously decided to go on two days mass casual leave, if department failed to take any decision regarding redressal to the issues of the clerical cadre within week’s time, he added.
