JAMMU, Sept 2: One day conference of Jammu Kashmir Government Pharmacists Association of R S Pura block was held at PHC Chakrohi under the presidentship of Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, district president JKGPA.
Sushil Sudan, State president, JKGPA was the chief guest. Jarnail Choudhary, working president, JKGPA, Shafqat Hussian, general secretary, district Jammu and Vishal Patel, organizer were the guests of honour.
After threadbare discussion on the demands of Pharmacists , Sushil Sudan stressed upon them to remain united to achieve the goal and serve the public with dedication and remain punctual to their legitimate duty.
The other demands of the Association which were highlighted included running grade to Junior Pharmacists after rendering five years on the existing pattern of Assistant Surgeons, creation /upgradation of posts of Block Pharmacy Officer and District Pharmacy Officer and grant of risk allowance to the Pharmacists.
In the meantime, new body of Pharmacists of Block R S Pura was framed and Romesh Lal was declared as president, Surinder Kumar as vice president, Bishan Dass as general secretary, Subash Sharma as organiser, Ram Paul as cashier, Vikram Singh as chief advisor, Bhushan Kumar, Kali Veer, Ashok Saini, Iqbal Singh and Sovit Gupta as members.
Others who addressed the gathering included Kulmeet Singh, Vishal Patil and Madan Sharma.
