Better late than never. This is how we-the fans of Pran-the villian can express our feeling over choosing him for the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award. The cinegoers films personalities and those associated with cinema have expressed their happiness over this decision of the Government.
This honour should have come much earlier keeping in view Pran’s contribution to Indian cinema during his illustrious six-decade career.His cinematic prsona, dialogue delivery and his ability to play different characters has made him immortal for ever. His role as a Afghani Pathan in many movies has endeared him to his fans.
At a time when we are celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema, we have another reason to celebrate it-one of Bollywoods versatile boys has been recognised for his contribution to it.
