PFP demands regularization, removal of pay anomalies

SRINAGAR, Jan 29: The Principal Forum Pulwama today demanded removal of pay anomalies and completion of regularization process which is pending since 2009.
The spokesperson of the forum said that Principal Forum Pulwama convened a meeting at district headquarters Pulwama and stressed upon the Government to address their pending demands as soon as possible. One of the demand, he said, is completion of regularization process is pending since 2009 in the department.
He said the Forum appealed the Government to bring the grade pay of the cadre at par with other UTs and states. “Currently we are working in the pay band of Rs 5600, while other UTs and states are in pay band of Rs 6600,” he said.
He added that they appealed the Government to grant the non-vocational status to the Principals of the UT as principals are always present in their institutions during chilly winters for disposal of official matters.
Principals from different institutions were present in the meeting.
