Petrol pump Chowkidar robbed off Rs 30000 cash

KATHUA, June 19: A chokidhar of petrol pump at village Marooli in Industrial areas was robbed off Rs 30000 in cash by some robbers during late last night.
The victim identified as Mohinder Singh, son Shanker Singh of Pedblole , Kathua who was injured in clash with robbers is undergoing treatment GMC Kathua. The victim Mohinder Singh said that he was on routine night duty at HP SICOP Fuel Station , Govindsar . Two youth wearing masks came at Petrol Pump at 11.30 pm last night and asked for handing over the sale of Petrol Pump otherwise they will eliminate him.

When victim did not gave the cash, the miscreants thrashed him and threw him down from roof top of the Chowkidar hut and looted Rs 30,000 which were kept in pant pocket by him. The victim has kept the money for purchasing a motor cycle. The burglars fled away from the site after committing the crime. As the pump was at a secluded place no one came for his help despite he raised alarm.
The victim fell unconscious and in the early morning some passersby noticed the victim lying unconscious at Petrol Pump and informed the police. Police reached on the spot and shifted him to hospital for treatment. The police started investigation into the matter and registered a case under FIR No 63/20, under section 382,323 IPC. The police has started questioning of nearby people to identify the burglars.
