People’s Alliance is bunch of Pak stooges: Kavinder

JAMMU, Oct 25: Castigating members of newly formed People’s Alliance of ‘Gupkar Declaration’ for their anti-national stance taken against the will of Parliament of India over the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A and subsequent changes in erstwhile J&K State’s status, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta termed ‘People’s Alliance’ as ‘flock of Pakistani puppets’ which can go to any extent for ensuring petty political gain.
Expressing resentment over PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti’s statement disrespecting Tricolour and other resolves made in the last meeting of People’s Alliance, Kavinder said that BJP will oppose tooth and nail all such seditious acts proposed by those entities which are dying to promote separatism in the Valley in the guise of political discourse of mainstream parties.
Gupta was speaking at a meeting of senior BJP leaders to discuss current political scenario in JK UT after NC, PDP and other political outfits joined hands in Valley against Government’s decision on Articles 370 and 35-A.
In the meeting, former minister Sat Sharma, Ex MLC Vikram Randhawa and Chairman Health & Sanitation Committee JMC, Baldev Singh Billawaria were also present.
“The situation in Kashmir is in no way akin to that of late 1980s when Farooq and company tried to satiate their vested interests by inciting passions of common masses thus spoiling the future of almost three generations. People now are well aware of game plan of these so called leaders and will never fall prey to their evil designs as they have faith in central dispensation led by PM Narendra Modi which is eager in ensuring all round development in J&K,” Kavinder said adding that what is being hatched under Gupkar deal will never see the light of the day as all the parties under the umbrella of this unholy alliance have been exposed a number of times and people in Valley and elsewhere in JK UT are in no mood to listen to lies of NC, PDP and others in the coterie.
The meeting resolved to bring before the people the wrong doings of Alliance members and how they kept them aloof from peace, progress and prosperity.
