KATHUA, July 23: People of J&K will liberate the State from PDP and BJP in elections of 2019, as both the parties as during three years tenure of PDP-BJP coalition Government, both the parties led the State to hell like conditions and now blaming each other for the cause.
This was stated by JKPCC general secretary and Ex-Minister, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma while addressing one-day party delegates’ convention here today. The convention was organized by District Congress Committee, where Dr Sharma was invited as chief guest.
The convention was presided over by DCC president and former MLC, Subash Gupta whereas Ex-MLA, Jagdish Raj Sapolia, Naresh Sharma (Ex-president MC Kathua) and many other office bearers also marked their presence.
Dr Sharma, in his address, described BJP and PDP as power hungry parties saying that there was nothing common between the two. He said that their alliance was ‘unsacred’ and ‘opportunist’ to share power only and finally it has been proved.
Subash Gupta, in his address, described the PDP-BJP alliance as a combination of power hungry forces who exploited the sentiments of the people on contradictory and opposite agendas. He said that the youth have to play a vital role in maintaining the secular fabrication of the State and country and defeat the politics of exploitation and falsehood in elections of 2019. He also asked the party men to strengthen the party and get prepared for future Panchyat and Local Bodies elections.
Jagdish Raj Sapolia, depicting the BJP’s failure to respect the mandate and bartering the interests of the electorate of Jammu in every respect, said that BJP surrendered all its’ ideological stand and other promises to share power and has deceived the electorate.
Naresh Sharma, in his address said, “Time has come to erase the name of PDP and BJP from J&K by making them defeated in coming elections.” Recalling the youth as main strength of the organization, he emphasized youth to work hard and strengthen party at ground level.
