KATHUA, Apr 4: The irate residents held protest demonstration against water shortage and non supply of ration in and around Kathua District, today.
The villagers of Ramkote held strong protest against PHE Department for not supplying water. Since morning dozens of women including housewives, working ladies and students gathered at village outskirts and raised slogans against PHE Department for ignoring their sufferings in the absence of water supply for some time.
Another demonstration was held by residents of Hote at Hatli Morh and they were raising slogans against CAPD for non supply of ration. Similar protest were held at Hiranagar, wherein people demanded regular supply of ration.
