UDHAMPUR, May 15: Large number of people including women of Chabutra Bazaar here held strong demonstration against the PHE Department in protest against acute scarcity of drinking water supply in their area for the past over one month.
The people said they have brought the matter to the concerned authorities of the PHE Department but nothing has been done to restore water supply, the temperature is rising with every passing day thereby causing numerous difficulties to the inhabitants of the area.
The people warned that if the department failed regular water supply they would hold massive demonstration outside the main office of the PHE Department.
