JAMMU, Jan 11: The residents of Patta Bohri and members of Samrasta Welfare Society have strongly protested against the opening of a Bar & Restaurant near the main Chowk.
In strong letter forwarded to Dy Commissioner Jammu and DC Excise, the residents and the members of the Society at Tatta Bohri have strongly objected to the opening of Bar at the Chowk and said that there was a temple and a Govt Middle School situated closer to the point where this Bar is being opened in sheer violation of the rules and standing norms. A Shiv temple is located just closer to the site selected by the Excise department. It will spoil the youth of the area. They warned an agitation if the bar is opened there against the wishes of the public.
