UDHAMPUR, Mar 30: People of Garhi, Rehambal today held a protest against CAPD Department over improper distribution of verification forms for ration cards.
They took out a protest march upto Panchayat Garh Garhi and Rehambal, where a strong protest demonstration was held thereafter. They were raising slogans against the CAPD authorities and the district administration for their alleged negligence.
The protesting people alleged the CAPD department did not depute even a single person to guide the illiterate people for filling the application forms, a number of which were not filled up correct. They also alleged that a large number of application forms were missing.
