REASI, Apr 18: Up in arms against no supply of drinking water, the people from Talli Morh area of Reasi today came out on the road and held strong protest demonstration against the PHE authorities.
The protesters also blocked road for more than three hours thus resulting into heavy jam and unease to the pilgrims of Shivkhori shrine.
The protesting people alleged that their area was suffering for want of drinking water for the last about 12 days. They alleged that there was no proper alternative arrangement by the PHE authorities and general public was suffering badly because of no supply of water.
They raised slogans against PHE Department and Government and also accused PHE employees of misbehaving with them whenever they approach them for lodging complaint of water supply failure.
Later on, Tehsildar and DySP visited the protesters and pacified the situation.
