KATHUA, Sept 2: The people of Ward No 13 protested and blocked Kathua Hatli More road for one hour in protest against power failure in the area due to the breakdown of transformer.
The protesters said that for last several days they were facing power crisis after the local transformer developed a snag and the authorities failed to restore the same.
Later, some police officers visited the area and assured the people that transformer will be installed by tomorrow. On his assurance they lifted the road blockade.
