POONCH, July 20: The people from Harni area held protest demonstration against PHE authorities and demanded restoration of water supply to the area.
The villagers from the area came out on Mendhar-Surankote Road during the day and started protest demonstration. They stalled the movement of vehicles on the road for more than an hour. They pointed pit that due to flood in Nallah, the main rising line has washed away and water supply to Kasyot and adjoin three villages and some hamlets has been disrupted. They demanded that pipes be repaired and water supply to the area be restored as the general public is suffering badly. Later, SHO and Naib Tehsildar pacified the agitating people and they lifted dharna.
