SAMBA, Aug 21: People protested under the leadership of Sarpanch Lavlu Sambyal in the Panchayat Kehli Mandi near here today over the water and electricity scarcity.
The protestors while raising slogans in support of their demands said that the administration is totally irresponsible as it has deprived the local people of basic facilities like electricity and, water supply in Samba. The people in the area are without power and water supply for last five days, they added.
The power cut is going on unabated and the people face long duration power cuts as routine and there is no schedule cut. The protestors warned to launch agitation in case the problem was not solved.
