RAJOURI, Oct 22: The villagers and relatives of the deceased, 13-year old school boy Umart Rehman, murdered in Kot Dharma area last week held protest demonstration against Rajouri police for its failure to trace the killers and blocked road for about an hour at Palma today.
Irate residents of the area today came out on the road at around 9.30 am and raised barricades. They held strong protest demonstration against police and alleged that it has failed to solve the blind murder of the 7th class student whose body was found hanging on a tree. They were raising slogans against DIG, SP and SHO Rajouri. Later, some police officers rushed to the site and assured the agitating villagers to give a few days to them to solve this blind murder. On the assurance, later the villagers lifted dharna around 10.30 am.
